My Uncle Mikey was a fantastic fellow, he took us on the ferry in Washington to Seattle where he showed us you can feed the birds straight from your hands with a little encouragement, the right tasty snack, and fearless-ness for your own fingers.
We made fun of him for saying “I Like Birds” a bit too many times, but so much of that moment made me love birds too.
