I love my Wife 1/x

If there was a million words in the English language I am not sure I could figure out exactly how to tell my wife I love her. I figured I would start a list, and maybe in the 171,476 words to date I might figure out what that count might be.

  1. I love that my wife tells me everything, no matter how odd.
  2. That there’s nothing more enchanting than her.
  3. I love her veracity.
  4. I love that she can bend life to however she fits.
  5. I love that she holds me infinitely higher than I do.
    • I feel holy in her eyes.
  6. I love her anger, an unbridled fury for truth and justice.
  7. I love her sly looks and praises.
  8. I love her one-ness with nature.
  9. I love her forwardness and care; how she expresses herself in the form of love can be felt by everyone that she touches.
  10. I love that she loves me.

I Love Life

No matter who you are, where you are, or how it’s going you should be able to say with certainty that you love life. Even in the darkest moments, the evilest hours, or times of extreme uncertainty your love for your life should be unwavering.

It may seem fool hearted to live life with rose-colored glasses, but I don’t agree. To love life isn’t to live life in ignorance, but to understand that even when things are hard or challenging that your life is incredibly unique, short, and not necessary for the world around you to live. You didn’t have to exist, but you do, what you choose to do with your life is yours. For me, loving life is an unabashed declaration to a cruel and mysterious world that I will not live in suffering just because it wants me to.

Imagine the life of perpetual fear that birds and squirrels live, the solitude and isolation of a predator, the innate cruelty of nature. Let this be a reminder that there is always more to be grateful for.

So say it out loud. I Love Life.

How does it make you feel?

Why?..
